Job summary

ERSG Ltd seeks a Senior Quantity Surveyor for a freelance/contract position in Glasgow with hybrid working. You will own the commercial delivery of major infrastructure packages, ensuring cost control, contractual compliance and strong commercial performance across regulated environments.

You will lead on cost control, forecasting and reporting, manage variations and risk, and engage with subcontractors and stakeholders to deliver project success on a long-term programme.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Quantity Surveyor.
• Background in infrastructure, engineering or major construction.
• Strong commercial and contract management experience.
• Experience managing change, cost and risk.
• Excellent stakeholder and negotiation skills.
• Comfortable working within regulated or complex project environments.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial and contractual activities across allocated projects/packages.
• Lead cost control, forecasting and financial reporting.
• Manage variations, change and commercial risk.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and subcontracts.
• Manage subcontractor and supply chain relationships.
• Support commercial governance and project reporting.
• Work closely with project teams and key stakeholders.
