Job summary

Mercury, the European leader in construction solutions, is seeking a Project Operations Manager for Ferrybridge, U.K. You will lead on-site operations, coordinate with the project director, commercial manager and supply chain to deliver KPI’s and maintain client relationships.

Qualifications

• Engineering degree or recognised trade qualification.
• 10+ years’ experience managing large construction projects as a General Contractor.
• Thorough knowledge of civil, structural and architectural packages.
• Understanding of mechanical and electrical installations and interfaces.

Responsibilities

• Overall responsibility for all works on site, leading pre-planning meetings to review deliverables and ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with the Project Director/Manager & Commercial Manager to deliver KPIs and review weekly site progress.
• Maintain a positive client relationship and deliver contractual obligations promptly.
• Plan site setup and logistics to ensure safe, efficient execution and proper resources.
• Promote strong EHS & Quality culture through meetings and discipline.
• Lead development of the project target schedule with site planner and supply chain partners.
