Job summary

AJ Group is seeking a senior Construction Project Manager to lead delivery of new developments from a developer-side perspective in Leeds. You will assume professional responsibility for major property projects and partner with the Director of Operations and Construction, the Board, and the CEO to drive growth and strategic objectives.

On-site leadership is essential as you will supervise contractors, manage budgets with a Cost Manager, and ensure compliance with health and safety standards

Qualifications

• Proven professional experience in construction project management, specifically within the construction and development sector.
• Advantageous: direct experience on large data centre projects or mission-critical facilities.
• Must reside within a commutable distance to Leeds, on-site 4–5 days a week.

Responsibilities

• Project Delivery & Management: provide robust, timely project management for property development projects.
• Financial & Commercial Oversight: assist with preparation and management of major budgets, schedules, and cost controls.
• Standards & Compliance: ensure facilities meet client standards and safety regulations.
• Contract & Safety Administration: supervise contractors and oversee health and safety guidance.
