Job summary

LJ.B & Co. Construction Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Project Manager to lead the electrical package for a major data centre construction project in Ferrybridge, Leeds.

You will oversee electrical installations, manage site teams and subcontractors, control budgets and ensure delivery to high technical and commercial standards. You will coordinate safety, QA, and progress reporting, while maintaining close collaboration with the client and engineers to meet programme

Qualifications

• Minimum five years' project management experience.
• Strong knowledge of health and safety requirements.
• Good IT, communication and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Oversee electrical systems package through project lifecycle.
• Coordinate site safety with PM and HSE team; manage safety docs.
• Promote quality, health, safety and environmental culture on site.
• Manage QA processes and documentation.
• Coordinate project schedule with engineers and client requirements.
• Control costs including labour, subcontractors, materials and variations.
• Oversee day-to-day site operations and electrical installation activities.
• Ensure supply-chain contracts align with company policies on site.
• Manage subcontractor progress and weekly coordination meetings.
• Oversee snagging and punch-list management and close-out.
• Monitor labour hours, material orders and deliveries.
• Attend site meetings, reviews and handover meetings.
• Produce weekly cost and progress reports.
