Job summary

Navartis Ltd is seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a Tier 1 Main Contractor in Birmingham. You will lead project delivery, coordinating site teams to achieve programme, budget, quality and health and safety objectives, from planning through to handover.

Collaborating with clients, consultants and the broader team, you will build strong relationships and drive performance to deliver projects safely, on time and within budget.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Senior Project Manager or an experienced Project Manager ready to progress.
• Strong background in construction project delivery with a main contractor.
• Excellent leadership, communication and organisational skills.
• Strong understanding of construction programmes, commercial requirements and risk management.
• Track record of delivering projects safely, on time and within budget.
• Relevant construction qualifications and appropriate site management certifications.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the project team, ensuring clear responsibilities and effective communication.
• Develop, monitor and manage the construction programme.
• Oversee subcontractor performance and coordinate project resources.
• Maintain high standards of health and safety, quality and environmental compliance.
• Work closely with the commercial team to manage costs, risks and variations.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and stakeholders; identify and resolve issues to maintain progress and achieve successful handover.
