Job summary

Navartis Ltd in Birmingham seeks a Senior Civil Engineer to lead civil works for residential housing projects from feasibility through to completion.

You will oversee roads, drainage, earthworks and utilities, review designs and provide technical support to site teams on a full-time basis.

The role offers a salary of £65,000-£70,000 plus car allowance and discretionary bonus, with a permanent, office-based arrangement.

Qualifications

• Experience in civil engineering within residential development or housebuilding.
• Experience of housing developments from feasibility to construction.
• Strong knowledge of residential roads, drainage, levels, earthworks, utilities and infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Assess potential residential development sites and identify civil constraints.
• Review and coordinate civil designs, drawings, specs and technical submissions.
• Provide technical support to site teams.
• Oversee delivery and adoption of roads, drainage and infrastructure incl. Section 38, Section 104 and Section 278.
• Review engineers' drawings and calculations.
