Job summary

Bovis is seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to lead a major leisure complex project in Bedfordshire. You will oversee delivery, quality and schedule, reporting into a Programme Project Director.

You will build and mentor a high-performing team, drive safety and compliance, and manage cost control while liaising with clients and contractors to achieve best-in-class outcomes.

Qualifications

• Chartered professional status (CIOB or equivalent).
• Degree in a construction-related field or engineering.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership for delivery staff and create a positive work environment.
• Create detailed project strategy, plan and schedule to maximise client and Bovis outcomes.
• Ensure high-quality workmanship and proactive quality issue management.
• Maintain clear communication and records with all stakeholders.
• Review costs and controls to manage the project budget.
• Build and mentor a skilled project team and promote best practice.
