Job summary

McLarens is seeking a Major Loss Adjuster to handle a broad portfolio of claims from investigation through settlement, reporting in line with policies and timelines. Travel will be required across geographic coverage.

The role demands CILA qualification (or progress), strong negotiation, and excellent communication with insurers, brokers and clients. London-based posting with remote working options and growth potential.

Qualifications

• CILA qualification or progressing
• Proven experience in property loss adjusting
• Strong negotiation and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to develop relationships with brokers and insurers

Responsibilities

• Investigating, negotiating and agreeing settlement of claims
• Liaising with insured, insurers and brokers
• Completing on site investigations and damage surveys
• Producing reports in line with standards and timelines
• Contributing to McLarens’ business development
• Networking to identify growth opportunities
• Undertaking ad hoc projects as required
