Job summary

Pershing Consultants Ltd is recruiting a Senior Construction Project Manager to deliver utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects across the UK from a remote setting.

You will work with leading developers, investors and contractors, coordinating multi-disciplinary teams and managing programme, cost and quality through construction, commissioning and handover. The role offers flexibility to work remotely while staying connected to sites and clients nationwide.

Qualifications

• Significant experience delivering large-scale renewable energy or infrastructure projects.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary project teams and contractor performance.
• Excellent knowledge of construction health and safety and CDM Regulations.
• Commercial awareness with budgets, contracts and programme performance.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the construction delivery of utility-scale Solar PV and BESS projects for clients.
• Act as Client Representative or Owner's Engineer during construction.
• Manage EPC contractors, principal contractors, and delivery teams.
• Own programme, cost, quality and construction risk throughout delivery.
• Coordinate engineering, procurement, commercial and construction activities to meet objectives.
• Manage governance, reporting and stakeholder communications.
• Administer contracts, change control and commercial matters.
• Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations, health and safety standards.
• Lead commissioning, energisation and handover activities.
• Build relationships with developers, investors, contractors and supply chain partners.
• Mentor junior project professionals and contribute to business growth.
