An immediate need exists for an experienced non-contentious Construction Lawyer to join a leader in the data centre sector on an initial 6-month FTC, supporting the Head of Legal.

The role involves working on a pipeline of construction projects, with responsibilities including:

1. Drafting, reviewing, and negotiating complex construction contracts, including supply agreements.
2. Advising on the implementation of supply chain contracts to key subcontractors, risk management, and related warranty arrangements.
3. Ensuring appropriate insurance policies and coverage are in place.
4. Negotiating operational and maintenance contracts, general commercial agreements, and tenders.
5. Handling dispute resolution.
6. Instructing external counsel when required.

Candidates should have 7+ years PQE, with experience in a similar capacity as a non-contentious construction lawyer, either in-house or in private practice. A commercial and pragmatic approach, along with the ability to work effectively in a busy, project-based environment, is essential.
