Job summary

Ryder Reid Legal Limited in London is seeking a Senior Conflicts Analyst to join its Risk & Compliance function. You will conduct conflicts research for new clients and matters, assess ethical issues, and support matter onboarding in a fast-paced global environment.

Working closely with colleagues in the UK and US, you will manage conflict checks, assist with waivers and consents, and help ensure efficient risk management across cross-border matters. Five days per week in the London office.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' experience in law firm conflicts, new business intake, or risk & compliance.
• Strong understanding of conflicts of interest rules in a legal environment.
• Experience analysing conflicts across multiple jurisdictions, UK & US.
• Confidential information handling with professionalism.
• Experience using corporate intelligence platforms (Orbis, World-Check, Hoover's, etc.).

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive conflicts searches for new clients, matters, and business opportunities.
• Support the clearance process and assist with conflict waivers and related documentation.
• Manage new matter openings, updates, and closures in intake systems.
• Assist with lateral hire conflict checks and onboarding processes.
• Escalate complex conflict issues to senior stakeholders per firm policies.
• Collaborate with lawyers and cross-border teams to ensure risk management.
