Job summary

Brett Aggregates is seeking an experienced Technical Manager to oversee the Brett Concrete Technical Department across plants in the South East. The role reports to the Technical Director and involves designing concretes, operating Cusum, controlling test rates, and running software systems.

Candidates should have ready-mixed concrete design/production experience, a concrete technology qualification, and a valid UK driving licence. Health and safety leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in ready mixed concrete design, production, testing and control is essential.
• Qualifications in concrete technology or a construction-related subject.
• Right to work in the UK and full UK driving licence.

Responsibilities

• Investigating complaints and liaising with customers to resolve outcomes.
• Auditing concrete batching plants internal processes.
• Controlling project costs and promoting technical staff competence.
• Communicating with Brett Concrete teams and external customers.
• Ensuring compliance with environmental and sustainability standards.
• Knowledge of the Quality Scheme for Ready Mixed Concrete.
