Job summary

Heidelberg Materials UK is seeking a Sizewell C Area Technical Manager - Concrete to lead technical activities for concrete on a high-profile national infrastructure project. You will manage technical requirements, oversee material performance, and ensure compliance with European and British standards, QSRMC regulations, IMS, and the Heidelberg Materials Quality/Technical System Manuals.

The role requires strong health and safety focus, formal qualifications in construction/site safety, and

Qualifications

• GCSE grade 4+ in Math and English or equivalent.
• CSCS for construction sites is required; SSSTS is optional.

Responsibilities

• Ensure health & safety standards are upheld across the project.
• Maintain alignment with the Project Technical Strategy Plan and QA targets.
• Monitor product and raw material performance, ensuring compliance with relevant standards.
• Provide technical training and support to department staff and customers.
