Job summary

RMS Recruitment is seeking an experienced Compound Manager for an automotive client to lead inbound/outbound compound operations, ensure timely vehicle movement, and maintain safety and quality standards.

You will manage a site shift-based team, optimise layouts, perform regular inventory audits, and collaborate with transport partners to meet client expectations, while driving continuous improvements in throughput and cost effectiveness.

Qualifications

• 5+ years as Compound Manager or in compound/logistics roles.
• At least 2 years in a managerial role.
• Certification in Logistics / Supply Chain preferred.
• Strong leadership and people-management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and organisation

Responsibilities

• Inbound Operations Management and scheduling.
• Oversee receiving, inspections, and documentation on arrival.
• Outbound Operations scheduling and dispatch.
• Maintain organised compound layout and inventory accuracy.
