Job summary

Outpost, a London-based visual effects studio, seeks a Senior Compositor to lead the integration of live-action and CG elements for high-end episodic and film projects in collaboration with the Visual Effects Supervisor.

You will apply advanced Nuke compositing, blend 2D/3D elements, and deliver photorealistic lighting and color with meticulous attention to detail, guiding the final image to meet the client’s vision.

Qualifications

• Proven experience compositing high-end VFX shots.
• Excellent eye for detail and photorealistic lighting.
• Ability to interpret shot notes and client direction.

Responsibilities

• Create and integrate live-action with CG elements to deliver final shots as directed by the VFX Supervisor.
• Maintain aesthetic integrity and technical quality of output across sequences.

Job Description

As a Senior Compositor you will combine live action and computer-generated elements into visual effects shots that realize the vision and creative direction of the client and Visual Effects Supervisor. You will be responsible for the aesthetic integrity and technical quality of the final image delivered to the client.

Key Skills

• Strong ability in all aspects of compositing in Nuke, integrating 2D, 3D and live-action elements to a high-end visual effects standard
• Strong eye for detail, composition, understanding of photorealism, color and lighting
• Able to understand and apply shot notes
