Job summary

Outpost creates stunning visual effects for film and episodic projects and seeks a Senior FX Artist to join our growing team in London.

You’ll craft fire, fluids, atmosphere and explosions in hyper-real environments, build tools, and mentor junior artists to help raise the quality of our high-end VFX work on features and series.

Collaborate with lighting, shading, and comp to integrate effects into shots, meeting deadlines while preserving artistic nuance.

Qualifications

• Experience using Houdini for FX
• Strong artistic sense for photo-realistic FX
• Track record on high-end VFX projects

Job Description

As Senior FX Artist, you'll be creating a lot of movie magic such as fire, fluids, atmosphere, and explosions in hyper-real environments for exciting projects! Creating tools and aiding more junior artists in their development is a huge bonus too!

Qualifications

• Experience working in Houdini
• A strong artistic sense of photo-realistic effects for environments, characters, and magic
• Previous workon high level VFX projects
