Job summary

Outpost is seeking a Senior Previs Animator to deliver high-end episodic and feature VFX, animating both primary and secondary characters and elements to an outstanding quality and completing shots efficiently.

You will participate in dailies, contribute feedback, and troubleshoot animation challenges, using strong Maya and Houdini skills and a solid understanding of shot composition and the CG pipeline.

Qualifications

• Senior Previs Animator with strong Maya/Houdini experience
• Experience animating characters, vehicles, props, creatures, and cameras
• Experience on high-end film/episodic VFX and CG pipeline

Job Description

The Role

As an Senior Previs Animator you will be responsible for animating both primary and secondary characters and elements, working efficiently to complete assigned shots to an excellent quality for high end episodic projects and feature films.

You will participate in dailies sessions, offering and receiving constructive feedback, and using your ability to analyse and troubleshoot to solve animation related technical challenges.

Key Skills

• Strong Knowledge of Maya and Houdini
• Thorough understanding of the core animation principles and shot composition.
• Experience in animating characters, vehicles, props, creatures, and cameras.
• High level of experience working on High End Film / Episodic TV VFX.
• Good understanding of a CG Pipeline
