Job summary

First Base in Nuneaton is seeking a Senior Composite Laminator to join a busy Composites Department. You will report to the Team Leader and support the efficient running of the department, ensuring work is completed to the highest standards and within required timescales.

Requirements include experience as a composite laminator (ideally senior), pre-preg autoclave processes, and carbon/glass composite materials, with excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience as a composite laminator, ideally at a senior level.
• Experience with pre-preg autoclave processes.
• Experience with carbon and glass composite materials.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Able to follow procedures, work instructions and manuals.
• Good verbal communication and listening skills.
• Able to work to tight deadlines and remain calm under pressure.
• Comfortable working in a fast-moving manufacturing environment.
• Motorsport or automotive composite experience would be highly desirable.
• Able to support and develop less experienced laminators.

Responsibilities

Hours: Double day shifts, 37 hours per week

Salary: £36,000 to £41,625 per annum
