Job summary

Responsibilities

• Analyse current processes and documentation to highlight improvements and ensure the bank remains compliant as it grows.
• Develop and deliver the compliance strategy; identify risks and work with projects to address them.
• Oversee regulatory change and implement robust processes and training.
• Provide reporting to forums and committees on areas of non-compliance.
• Lead and supervise the Compliance team; conduct 1-1s and appraisals.
• Maintain accurate and timely systems-based records.

The role is to be responsible for the first line compliance within Hodge Bank (excl. Commercial). This will be a key role, possessing an excellent knowledge of FCA regulatory requirements and an eye for detail, the role will be responsible for ensuring the processes are compliant and identifying areas of potential risk within the bank. The role will be responsible for shaping process to support business growth and ensure a good customer outcomes.Essential ExperienceKnowledge of FCA Conduct Rules..Recent working knowledge of the FCA Handbook.Previous experience of working in a Compliance role within Financial Services.Experience of providing compliance advice around Consumer Duty & Vulnerable Customer requirements.Demonstrates strong analytical skills, critical thinking and excellent communication skills.Key Responsibilities will include:Have an excellent knowledge of the regulatory requirements and be able to analyse current processes and documentation to highlight areas of improvement and ensure the bank remains compliant as it grows.Aid the development and delivery of the strategy.
