Job summary

Medlock Partners, an established compliance-focused organisation in the United Kingdom, seeks a Compliance Engineer to strengthen ISO-based management systems across quality, environmental, health & safety and regulatory compliance.

The role is hands-on, requiring auditing, regulatory interpretation, and collaboration with multiple teams. You will own documentation, drive continual improvement, and occasionally travel to other locations as required.

Qualifications

• Experience auditing against ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Knowledge of packaging legislation, WEEE and Batteries Regulations.
• Experience maintaining management systems and records.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements into actionable steps.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work autonomously and with cross-functional teams.
• Willingness to travel to other locations as required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and support audits in line with ISO standards.
• Maintain and continually improve management systems and compliance framework.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess implications for the business.
• Provide practical guidance on regulatory requirements to colleagues.
• Ensure compliance documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
• Identify non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Support compliance across quality, environmental, health & safety and wider regulatory areas.
• Visit other locations to audit and align standards.
• Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams on compliance obligations.
• Foster a culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
