Job summary

Medlock Partners Ltd is seeking a Compliance Engineer to support quality, environmental, health & safety and broader regulatory compliance. This hands-on role will own the organisation's management systems and regulatory obligations, working across functions to ensure standards are maintained and risks are managed.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, quality, environmental or similar engineering role.
• Experience auditing against ISO 9001/14001/45001.
• Knowledge of packaging legislation, WEEE and Batteries Regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements into practical actions for the business.
• Maintaining management systems and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Maintain and improve management systems and compliance framework.
• Monitor legislative changes and assess impact.
• Advise colleagues on regulatory requirements.
• Maintain compliance documentation and records.
• Identify non-compliance and implement corrective actions.
• Support compliance across quality, environmental, health & safety and broader legislative requirements.
• Keep up-to-date with packaging legislation for WEEE and Batteries Regulations.
• Coordinate audits at other locations as required.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on compliance obligations.
• Promote culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
