Job summary

Medlock Partners is seeking a Compliance Engineer to strengthen quality, environmental, health & safety and regulatory compliance. This hands-on role owns the management systems, ensures standards are met, and drives continuous improvement across the business.

The ideal candidate will have practical experience with ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits, strong regulatory knowledge and a proactive, detail‑oriented approach. On-site based, four days a week.

Qualifications

• Experience in compliance, quality, environmental or related technical role.
• Experience supporting ISO 9001, ISO 14001 and ISO 45001 audits.
• Knowledge of packaging legislation, WEEE and Batteries Regulations.
• Ability to interpret regulatory requirements into practical actions.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate and support ISO 9001/14001/45001 audits.
• Maintain and improve management systems and processes.
• Monitor changes in legislation affecting the business.
• Provide guidance on regulatory compliance.
• Ensure documentation and records are accurate and up to date.
• Identify non-compliance and drive corrective actions.
• Support compliance across quality, environment, health & safety.
• Understand packaging legislation and batteries/WEEE.
• Communicate regulatory impacts across the business.
• Assist with audits, inspections and continuous improvement projects.
• Visit other locations to support audits and maintain standards.
• Collaborate with internal teams and suppliers on compliance.
• Foster culture of compliance and continuous improvement.
