Job summary

Saab UK is seeking a Senior Compliance Engineer in Fareham to lead regulatory compliance for underwater robotics products. You will manage technical files, coordinate with suppliers and test labs, and guide design teams to deliver compliant solutions across CE, UL and FCC standards.

The role requires hands-on experience with EN 61010, EN 60204, EMC and environmental testing, and the ability to travel as needed.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent.

Responsibilities

Control and maintain compliance of products to national and international standards (CE, UL, FCC).
Create and maintain technical files and declarations for standards.
Monitor new regulations and advise design teams on compliance implications.
Coordinate with internal teams and external labs to plan test activities.
Analyze test results and update compliance verification plans.
Report product compliance status to stakeholders and auditors.
Contribute to design reviews ensuring new products meet accreditation needs.
Support engineering changes to maintain ongoing compliance.
Improve department processes and share best practices.
Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
