Job summary

Saab UK in Fareham is seeking an experienced Senior Compliance Engineer to own and drive regulatory compliance for our underwater robotics products.

You will manage technical files, coordinate with test laboratories, and ensure adherence to CE, UL, FCC and related standards.

The role requires a strong engineering background, ability to work with internal teams and external partners, and willingness to travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering.
• Working knowledge EN 61010 and EN 60204 safety standards.
• Experience with EMC standards and CE/FCC directives.
• Understanding of environmental testing under CE LVD.
• Knowledge of PCB layouts, wiring and component recognition.
• Able to work independently and within a team.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product compliance with CE, UL, FCC and related standards.
• Create and maintain technical files and declarations.
• Monitor regulatory changes and assess impact on products.
• Coordinate with internal teams and test laboratories for audits.
• Report compliance status to stakeholders and auditors.
• Contribute to design reviews to ensure accreditability.
• Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
