About The Job

As our new Senior Compliance Analyst, you will support the Compliance Manager by bringing a pragmatic and customer-centric approach to your work. You’ll develop your expertise and confidence, learning how to support the business in managing risks and opportunities proportionately.

You should enjoy expanding your knowledge, be inquisitive, and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will be passionate about delivering high-quality results, customer-centric, and eager to enhance your technical, business, and communication skills.

Your responsibilities include helping build and execute the 2nd line Compliance Monitoring Plan, providing regulatory advice, guidance, and training, and working with various teams within the company.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design and produce Conduct MI and Committee pack information.
2. Provide accurate regulatory guidance.
3. Assist in the production and delivery of the 2nd line Compliance Monitoring Plan.
4. Review key projects and changes for compliance impacts.
5. Contribute to regulatory reporting.
6. Assess risks and issues from a regulatory perspective.
7. Monitor regulatory changes and communicate them effectively.
8. Support the delivery of the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
9. Act as a Regulatory SME for Issues Management, supporting high severity issues.
10. Provide guidance for change initiatives/projects.

Required Skills and Experience

• Experience in a Compliance role within an FCA regulated environment.
• Knowledge of FCA regulations, especially MCOB and CONC, is advantageous.
• Understanding of conduct risk and GDPR regulations.
• Tenacious work approach and ability to build relationships.
• Stakeholder management skills.
• Data analysis and MI interpretation skills.
• Independent and proactive working style.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

Preferred Qualifications

• Progress towards or holding a professional Compliance qualification.
• Experience in consumer unsecured and secured lending.
