Job summary

Hesley Group is seeking an experienced Community Support Manager to lead operational delivery of Supported Living services for adults with learning disabilities and complex needs. You will oversee quality, safeguarding, staffing and budgets while building strong partnerships with families, commissioners and professionals.

You will coach and develop teams, promote independence, and drive person-centred care within regulatory standards. A driving licence and willingness to travel are essential.

Qualifications

  • Significant management or supervisory experience within adult social care services.
  • Experience supporting adults with learning disabilities and specialist needs.
  • Experience of leading, developing and performance managing teams.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, risk management and regulatory compliance.
  • Experience of quality assurance, auditing and service improvement activities.
  • Knowledge of the Mental Capacity Act, person-centred planning and relevant care standards.
  • Ability to build effective relationships with people we support, families, commissioners and professionals.
  • Experience of managing resources, staffing and budgets effectively.
  • Diploma Level 4 in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) and willingness to work towards Level 5 if not already achieved.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across services as required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day leadership and oversight across a defined locality for Supported Living services.
  • Supervise and develop Assistant Community Support Managers.
  • Oversee quality assurance, safeguarding, health and safety, staffing and budgets.
  • Drive continuous improvement and build relationships with families, commissioners and health professionals.
  • Ensure services are safe, person-centred and compliant with regulatory and contractual requirements.
