Job summary

NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde (NHSGGC) is recruiting a Nurse Lead to oversee Specialist Children’s Services disabilities work and neurodevelopmental pathways. The role focuses on clinical leadership, caseload management, and supervising the SCS Disability team to deliver high‑quality child and family care.

You will work with a multi‑professional team, uphold NMC and GDPR standards, and contribute to development plans and service improvements within NHSGGC.

Qualifications

• First level registration with Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Degree level education and post-registration study in paediatric practice.
• Evidence of CPD and development planning.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and supervision of the Disability team and CCN.
• Ensure implementation of local and national policies and guidelines.
• Manage day-to-day supervision and delegation of work within the team.
• Maintain accurate clinical records and contribute to service improvements.
