Job summary

Sizewell C is recruiting a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial management of Design, Engineering and Construction contracts within the Supply Chain team. You’ll work with Programme Delivery, Finance, Legal and suppliers to ensure contracts deliver on cost, quality and schedule.

The role requires solid experience on major programmes and strong contract administration of NEC3/NEC4 or FIDIC, with excellent numerical and negotiation skills. Hybrid working, 5% bonus and a pension are offered.

Qualifications

• Experience on major programmes or multi-discipline projects.
• Strong understanding of NEC3/NEC4 or FIDIC contracts and administration.
• Proven experience in a commercial or contract management role.
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills for cost reporting.
• Self-starting, ownership and willingness to take on responsibility.
• Chartered status or progression towards professional recognition.
• Stakeholder management and negotiation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead all commercial and contract management activities for complex projects.
• Administer NEC3/NEC4 or FIDIC contracts, including drafting documentation.
• Manage supply chain engagement: procurement, quotes, negotiations.
• Produce accurate cost reports, forecasts and budgets with cost assurance.
• Represent the project in client-facing commercial meetings.
• Mentor junior team members and assist with project controls.
• Support project controls and reporting using ERP/systems.
