Job summary

Amentum's Nuclear Power Programme team in the UK is recruiting a Commercial Manager to oversee the commercial management of contracts from pre-award through close-out on Sizewell C projects. You will support procurement activities, administer NEC/FIDIC contracts and deliver governance, reporting and commercial outcomes that align with program objectives.

Qualifications

• Strong commercial and contract management experience on major projects.
• Knowledge of NEC and FIDIC contracts.
• Experience with procurement, negotiation, contract administration, claims, and risk management.
• Strong stakeholder management, communication, and influencing skills.
• Sound financial and commercial decision-making capability.
• Understanding of UK regulatory and construction environments.
• Experience in regulated sectors such as nuclear, energy, infrastructure, or construction is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Manage commercial aspects of assigned contracts from pre-award to close-out.
• Support procurement activities including ITTs, tender evaluations, negotiations, and contract award.
• Administer NEC/FIDIC contracts, including change control, claims, risks, and commercial reporting.
• Build and maintain supplier, contractor, and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure compliance with SZC governance processes and business objectives.
• Produce commercial dashboards, reports, and contract records.
• Support and develop Supply Chain Assistants.
• Work closely with Procurement, Legal, Project Controls, and Delivery teams.
