Job summary

Sizewell C Limited is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead procurement and contract strategy for a major nuclear project. You will oversee commercial relationships, ensure timely procurement, and work with internal and external stakeholders to meet project objectives.

The role requires extensive procurement experience, leadership, and strong knowledge of contract law and industry practices within the UK nuclear sector. Hybrid working with on-site needs at Leiston.

Qualifications

• Member of a professional body (RICS/ICE/CICES/IOB or equivalent).
• Experience in complex procurement and contract administration in major projects.
• Strong leadership and decision-making skills across technical and commercial topics.
• Knowledge of procurement, contract performance measurement, risk management and change/claims.

Responsibilities

• Manage regular reporting on contract scope, schedule, prices, key personnel and incentives.
• Maintain contract commercial relationships and support the Project Manager to ensure delivery of the contract.
• Contribute to procurement strategies and track procurement against IWS milestones.
• Administer vendor assessments via procurement portals and manage tender processes.
• Oversee contract formation activities across technical, programme, legal and commercial disciplines.
• Support budget processes and internal governance for contract awards.
