Job summary

Bramwith Consulting is seeking a Senior Commercial Manager to lead contract management strategy across major UK infrastructure projects. Based in Bristol with hybrid working, you will influence commercial decisions and deliver governance improvements on NEC contracts.

You will oversee NEC3/NEC4 contract management, lead a team, and partner with senior stakeholders to drive performance, supplier management, and value across a portfolio of strategic contracts.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in commercial governance for large construction or infrastructure projects.
• Deep knowledge of NEC3/NEC4 contract management (post-award).
• Experience in public sector or regulated environments.
• Strong leadership and the ability to challenge senior stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of contract management strategies and improvement programmes across major infrastructure projects.
• Provide commercial oversight of NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including compensation events, early warnings, change control and risk management.
• Lead and develop a team, embedding best practice across contract management and commercial governance.
• Work closely with senior client stakeholders, influencing commercial decisions and driving improvements.
• Strengthen supplier performance, contract compliance and commercial value across a portfolio of strategic contracts.
