UK Atomic Energy Authority (UKAEA) through UK Industrial Fusion Solutions Ltd (UKIFS) seeks a strategic Commercial Manager based at West Burton, Nottinghamshire, to oversee pre- and post-contract commercial activities for complex construction and engineering deals.

You will manage procurement, cost control, and commercial assurance across IPTs, ensuring value for money while maintaining regulatory compliance and leading negotiations with partners and suppliers.

Qualifications

• Significant experience in commercial and/or procurement on construction, infrastructure engineering projects or similar.
• Strong understanding of cost forecasting, valuation, change control, and final accounts.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead cost management of major construction, infrastructure or engineering contracts with forecasting and cost assurance.
• Draft, review, and negotiate complex contracts including JV, supply, and service agreements.
• Provide cost and commercial reporting to senior stakeholders.
• Lead commercial negotiations at tender and post-contract stages.
• Mentor and guide junior commercial staff.
