UK Industrial Fusion Solutions Ltd, owner of the STEP programme, is seeking a Commercial Manager to lead pre- and post-contract commercial activities for complex construction and infrastructure contracts within one or more IPTs. The role requires cross-functional collaboration with technical, legal, sourcing teams and external suppliers to ensure value for money and regulatory compliance.

• Significant experience in commercial and / or procurement on construction, infrastructure engineering projects or similar.
• Proven ability to manage high‑value contracts across the project lifecycle.
• Strong negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilités

• Lead pre-contract procurement tasks including drafting and negotiating complex contracts with JV, supply and construction agreements.
• Manage cost forecasting, budgets, and cost assurance across IPTs.
• Provide guidance on contractual terms reflecting project objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Lead commercial negotiations at tender and post‑contract stages and ensure contracts are administered per terms and governance.
• Produce high‑quality cost/commercial reporting to senior stakeholders and maintain auditable records.
• Mentor direct reports and other commercial colleagues, upholding professional integrity and values.
• Lead by example in problem solving, risk mitigation, and ethical behaviour.
