Job summary

UK Atomic Energy Authority is seeking a Senior Commercial Lead to steer procurement strategy across Professional Services and Engineering, including ATEN programme delivery. The role oversees a £100m+ portfolio and requires senior stakeholder engagement, governance, and robust contract management.

Qualifications

• CIPS membership and a degree or equivalent experience are essential.
• Extensive experience leading complex end-to-end procurements in the public sector.
• Strong knowledge of public procurement legislation and practical application.
• Experience developing procurement and commercial strategies at programme or portfolio level.

Responsibilities

• Lead sourcing and procurement across Professional Services and Integrated Engineering.
• Develop and implement category and commercial strategies for ATEN programme.
• Design innovative procurement and contracting solutions for agile delivery.
• Manage commercial risk, governance and regulatory compliance.
