Job summary

Equans UK & Ireland is recruiting a Commercial Manager to lead the commercial delivery of a major FM contract. The role is permanent, full-time (37.5 hours per week) with a salary package including a car or car allowance, bonus and benefits.

The post may be based anywhere in the UK, with the Birmingham posting serving as a base for the team. You will manage relationships with clients and suppliers, oversee commercial performance, and support growth opportunities across the portfolio.

Qualifications

• Suitable commercial experience with FM contracts preferred.
• Excellent financial acumen with ability to analyse complex data.
• Skilled negotiator with experience in a commercial environment.
• Strong understanding of risk analysis/management.
• Proficient with MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel.

Responsibilities

• Lead commercial delivery of a significant FM contract and support other contracts.
• Manage contract commercial management and profit improvement.
• Identify and resolve variations from contract deliverables with clients.
• Participate in bid governance processes and present at sector/division levels.
• Negotiate to protect the business from risk and lead dispute resolution where needed.
• Maintain compliance with contract review and governance frameworks.
