Job summary

Arcadis is seeking a senior cost and commercial management lead in Manchester to guide a team of technical specialists and drive efficient cost delivery across projects. This role focuses on financial performance, contract adherence, and strategic client engagement.

You will develop and maintain executive-level client relationships, lead process improvements, and ensure projects deliver value while meeting budget targets.

Qualifications

• Experience leading large teams on complex projects with full project lifecycles.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent and professional qualification or chartered status.
• CSCS card holder and ability to engage with executive-level clients.

Responsibilities

• Lead, motivate and manage a team of technical specialists, setting objectives and developing skills.
• Manage the financial performance of cost and commercial management projects across their life cycle.
• Lead the commercial aspects of projects, ensuring work aligns with budget and contract specifications.
• Monitor team performance, educate others, and ensure compliance with policies.
• Assure contract compliance and review complex information to improve long-term performance.
• Drive process improvements and implement new cost and commercial management system enhancements.
• Manage relationships with key customers and drive client satisfaction.
• Provide strategic cost and commercial management advice to senior managers and clients.
