Job summary

Arcadis in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Associate Cost Manager to join our Places Cost Management team. You will lead major cost management commissions, advise on complex cost and commercial matters, and mentor teams across development and infrastructure projects.

The role demands technical excellence, commercial acumen and the ability to foster strong client relationships with senior stakeholders.

Qualifications

Degree in Quantity Surveying, Cost Management or related built environment discipline.
MRICS or equivalent accreditation.
Significant consultancy experience delivering cost management services.
Experience leading large programmes and managing senior client relationships.
Strong procurement, contracts and risk management knowledge.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

Lead delivery of complex cost management commissions across major development and infrastructure programmes.
Provide strategic cost, commercial and procurement advice from business case through to project completion.
Oversee cost planning, benchmarking, estimating, risk management, value engineering, change control and final account resolution.
Provide commercial leadership on large-scale projects with senior stakeholder engagement.
Ensure delivery of high-quality, commercially focused advice to support client decision-making.
Mentor Cost Consultants and Quantity Surveyors and foster team development.
