Airey Miller, part of the Celnor Group, is recruiting a Commercial Manager / Head of Cost Consultancy Services to lead a growing multidisciplinary team delivering major residential development and fire safety remediation programmes across England.

We seek a Chartered or equivalent Cost Consultant with strong leadership, client-facing skills and extensive cost planning, procurement strategy and value engineering experience. The role combines strategic leadership with hands-on project involvement.

Formación

• Be Chartered or equivalent Cost Consultant with residential, high-rise and fire safety remediation experience.
• Strong residential cost planning and development appraisal experience.
• Leadership experience to manage a Cost Consultancy team.

Responsabilidades

• Lead development appraisals, cost planning and estimating across residential development and fire safety remediation projects, ranging from £5m to £100m+.
• Provide senior commercial and cost consultancy advice throughout the project lifecycle, from pre-contract development and feasibility through to post-contract delivery and agreement of final accounts.
• Lead and develop the Cost Consultancy team, providing direction, mentoring and support while ensuring projects are delivered efficiently, commercially and to a high standard.
• Work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams, including Fire Engineers, Project Managers, Employer’s Agents and Design Managers, to maximise client opportunities and deliver integrated project solutions.
• Advise on procurement, value management and value engineering, including innovative procurement routes, PCSA arrangements and joint venture management, particularly within the residential sector.
• Build and strengthen client relationships and business opportunities, providing confident commercial leadership and helping to grow the Cost Consultancy service and wider client base.
