Job summary

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is seeking a Commercial Insurance Account Handler in East Grinstead to manage a mid-market client portfolio, deliver expert advice, and oversee policy lifecycles from start to finish.

You will renewals, MTAs, and collaborate with Account Executives to quote and onboard new clients, ensuring high-quality service and compliance with FCA guidelines.

Qualifications

• 4–5 years of commercial insurance broking or handling experience.
• Solid grasp of general commercial lines (property, liability, motor).
• Willingness to progress toward CII qualifications (fully funded).

Responsibilities

• Manage and nurture an existing portfolio of mid-market commercial clients across sectors.
• Prepare renewal presentations, negotiate terms with insurers, handle MTAs.
• Collaborate with Account Executives to prepare quotes and onboard new clients.
• Act as day-to-day point of contact, providing clear technical advice.
