Job summary

Cameron James Professional Recruitment is seeking an experienced Commercial Insurance Account Handler for a flexible role in Lichfield. You will manage a cross-class portfolio across renewal, new business, and MTAs, handling a range of covers and liaising with insurers.

Part-time hours are considered with office-based, hybrid options, and a competitive benefits package. Cert CII progress is welcome; strong client communication and full policy lifecycle experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Proven background as a Commercial Account Handler within an insurance broking environment.
• Solid understanding of general commercial covers, incl. Commercial Combined, Fleet, Financial Lines, and Agricultural risks.

Responsibilities

• Account Management: Manage a broad portfolio of cross-class commercial clients through the full policy lifecycle (Renewals, New Business, MTAs).
• Cross-Class Broking: Place and service a wide variety of risks including Commercial Combined & Property, Fleet & Motor Trade, Financial Lines, Cyber, and Agricultural risks.
• Client & Underwriter Liaison: Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers, underwriters, and clients to secure favorable terms.
• Documentation & Administration: Prepare professional client documentation, summaries, and market presentations per FCA guidelines.
