The successful candidate will bring extensive experience at Commercial Director or Senior Commercial Manager level within civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction, with a proven track record

Qualifications

• Significant experience at Commercial Director / Senior Commercial Manager level.
• Strong background in civil engineering, infrastructure or major construction.
• Experience leading sizeable commercial teams.
• Excellent negotiation and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic commercial leadership across the project.
• Lead and develop the commercial team.
• Establish and implement commercial strategy.
• Maintain control of project financial performance.
• Oversee forecasting, CVRs and cost-to-complete reporting.
• Manage commercial risk and opportunities.
• Lead major procurement and subcontract negotiations.
• Provide senior-level contract and commercial advice.
• Manage change, variations and commercial negotiations.
• Support dispute avoidance and resolution.
• Maintain strong client and stakeholder relationships.
• Ensure robust commercial governance across the project.
• Work closely with the Project Director and senior leadership.
