Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an experienced procurement professional to lead complex procurement projects across a public sector/ housing context. The post holder reports to the Head of Procurement and line-manages one Senior Commercial Officer, coordinating input from Legal and Finance within a matrix structure.

You will bring strong commercial judgement, stakeholder engagement skills and a track record of delivering high-stakes procurement with regulatory oversight, ideally in housing.

Qualifications

• Experience in procurement, commissioning, finance or commercial environments.
• Proven ability delivering complex procurement exercises in housing or public sector settings.
• Experience developing specifications, statements of requirements and contractual documentation.
• Strong understanding of end-to-end procurement processes and regulations.
• Ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders and external organisations.

Responsibilities

• Lead procurement projects within a matrix management structure, coordinating input from Legal and Finance.
• Manage line responsibility for one Senior Commercial Officer on specific procurement projects.
• Deliver complex procurement activities with political sensitivity and regulatory compliance.
• Produce high-quality reports, briefings and recommendations for senior stakeholders.
