As the Senior Commercial Analyst for Gentrack’s Assurance Managed Services team, you will be responsible for the establishment, growth and continuous improvement of the offering. You will become an expert in the way Gentrack’s Assurance Managed Service customers businesses operate and what drives their success. You will leverage your extensive experience to implement creative business solutions, following industry best practice.

Your success will be measured by:

· Enabling an efficient process from pre-sales to client presentation.

· Improvement in Customer Satisfaction through frequent invoicing and timely reporting.

· The implementation of automation that drives down manual work and reduces operational costs, while maintaining quality of service.

· Facilitating the HoA to develop the Assurance Service Catalogue.

Key responsibilities

  • Manage customer onboarding data requirements and the Assurance tracker, enabling efficient turn around e.g. Proof Of Value request to presentation.
  • Drive operational performance and identify areas of improvement for both the client and Assurance application.
  • Manage customer data requirements to facilitate the effectiveness of Assurance delivery; ensure that the data held and processed is accurate and timely.
  • Manage the customer invoicing process, ensuring that invoices go out on time, of quality and approved for issue by the Head of Assurance.
  • Identification of new data errors in the Utilities industry and liaise with the team to develop resolution mechanisms (Trading Disputes, HH)
  • Develop and maintain management reporting.
  • Develop operational reporting to be utilised by the Assurance team, for effectiveness and efficiency e.g Tableau
  • Liaise with development teams and project managers in order to reach a timely resolution on queries
  • Support presales activities as required, particularly in the analysis and generation of the forecast opportunity.
  • Present and demonstrate findings in the customer sessions
  • Deliver professional, timely, communications to ensure Gentrack customers are kept up to date in line with agreed timeframes.
  • Develop and support Service Delivery Manager in generating timely customer reporting.
  • Support monthly Business Review Activities as required, particularly in the generation of the pack.
  • Present operational updates in the customer Monthly Business Reviews sessions
  • To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company
  • Take reasonable care of your own and other people’s Health & Safety in the workplace.
  • Report all incidents and hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your or anyone else’s Health & Safety at risk promptly.
  • In addition to this you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your direct line leader.

Experience required

  • 5 years or more experience in the Electricity and Gas retail industries is required.
  • Previous experience in a software environment is preferred.
  • Computer Literate with strong Excel and Word.
