Job summary

Witcher Associates, a Leeds-based independent commercial insurance broker, is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to join a sociable, growing team. You will manage a quality book of commercial clients with autonomy, renewals, mid-term changes, and claims support.

You'll build strong relationships, tailor insurance programmes to client risks, negotiate with insurers, and work with specialists across the group on complex risks, with hybrid working from a Leeds base and ongoing professional

• Managing a portfolio of commercial clients from renewal through to mid-term changes and claims support.

• Spotting opportunities to round out cover and grow existing accounts.

The role

You’ll look after a quality book of commercial clients with genuine autonomy and room to grow as the business does. Responsibilities include:

• Managing a portfolio of commercial clients from renewal through to mid-term changes and claims support

• Understanding each client’s risks and putting together tailored insurance programmes
• Negotiating terms with insurers and presenting recommendations clearly

About you

• Solid experience handling a commercial insurance book within a broker
• Confident dealing with clients face to face, with strong relationship skills
• Good technical knowledge across commercial lines
• Cert CII or working towards it (ACII desirable)
• Organised and self-motivated, comfortable working with autonomy
• Keen to develop your career with a growing business
