Responsibilities

• Manage renewals, MTAs and new business administration across a varied commercial portfolio.
• Support brokers with market submissions, quotations and placement activity.
• Build and maintain relationships with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms.
• Support placement of a wide range of commercial risks across regional and London Markets.
• Maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and company standards.

Senior Commercial Account Handler - Leeds - Hybrid - Up to £50,000

This is a role for a technically strong, experienced handler who's ready to take ownership within a busy commercial broking team. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, support brokers with placement activity, and have access to both regional and London Market insurers - giving you the breadth and depth to do your best work.

Salary: Up to £50,000

What you'll be doing

• Managing renewals, MTAs and new business administration across a varied commercial portfolio
• Supporting brokers with market submissions, quotations and placement activity
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms
• Supporting the placement of a wide range of commercial risks across regional and London Markets
• Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and company standards throughout

What they're looking for

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in commercial insurance, account handling or broking - less considered for those with a strong national brokerage background
• Technically trained and confident working independently
• ACII qualified or working towards it - CII qualification essential
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
• A proactive, self-motivated professional who manages multiple priorities with ease
• A clear communicator with a genuine client-focused approach
