Job summary

GetRecruited UK Ltd in Leeds is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to join a growing broker network on a hybrid basis. You will manage renewals, MTAs and new business administration across a varied commercial portfolio, with access to regional and London Market insurers.

The role requires 8-10 years in commercial insurance, ACII qualification or working towards it, and a proactive, client-focused communicator who can work independently.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in commercial insurance, account handling or broking.
• Technically trained and confident working independently.
• ACII qualification essential or actively pursued.
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proactive, self-motivated with ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Clear communicator with a client-focused approach.

Responsibilities

• Managing renewals, MTAs and new business administration across a varied commercial portfolio.
• Supporting brokers with market submissions, quotations and placement activity.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms.
• Supporting the placement of a wide range of commercial risks across regional and London Markets.
• Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and company standards throughout.

Senior Commercial Account Handler - Leeds - Hybrid - Up to £50,000

This is a role for a technically strong, experienced handler who's ready to take ownership within a busy commercial broking team.You'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, support brokers with placement activity, and have access to both regional and London Market insurers - giving you the breadth and depth to do your best work.

Salary: Up to £50,000
Location: Leeds
Working pattern: Hybrid

What you'll be doing
