Job summary

Get-Recruited (UK) Ltd is seeking a Senior Commercial Account Handler to join our Leeds team on a hybrid basis. You will manage renewals, MTAs and new business administration across a varied commercial portfolio and support brokers with market submissions and placements.

You will build strong relationships with insurers, work across regional and London Markets, and maintain accurate records in line with regulatory and company standards. The role offers strong benefits and clear progression.

Qualifications

• 8–10 years' experience in commercial insurance, account handling or broking.
• ACII qualification or working towards it.
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Technically trained and confident working independently.

Responsibilities

• Managing renewals, MTAs and new business administration across a varied commercial portfolio.
• Supporting brokers with market submissions, quotations and placement activity.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with insurers and underwriters to secure competitive terms.
• Supporting the placement of a wide range of commercial risks across regional and London Markets.
• Maintaining accurate records in line with regulatory and company standards throughout.

Senior Commercial Account Handler - Leeds - Hybrid - Up to 50,000

This is a role for a technically strong, experienced handler who's ready to take ownership within a busy commercial broking team. You'll work across a diverse portfolio of clients, support brokers with placement activity, and have access to both regional and London Market insurers - giving you the breadth and depth to do your best work.

What you'll be doing

What they're looking for

• Minimum 8-10 years' experience in commercial insurance, account handling or broking - less considered for those with a strong national brokerage background
• Technically trained and confident working independently
• ACII qualified or working towards it - CII qualification essential
• Strong administrative skills with excellent attention to detail
• A proactive, self-motivated professional who manages multiple priorities with ease
• A clear communicator with a genuine client-focused approach
