Job summary

Tenth Revolution Group is seeking an experienced Commerce Architect to lead the design and delivery of cutting-edge digital commerce and customer experience platforms for global brands. You will translate business requirements into scalable, secure architectures and provide hands-on leadership across delivery teams.

Qualifications

• Significant experience as an Architect or in a closely related role on agile software projects.
• Proven ability to design robust, scalable distributed architectures for B2C/B2B front-office/commerce solutions.
• Experience with cloud-native architectures as a must.
• Experience with leading front-office/commerce platforms aligned with composable principles (Salesforce Commerce Cloud, commercetools, SAP Commerce Cloud, Adobe Commerce, Shopify Plus).
• Ability to provide technical leadership to multi-location teams and ensure architectural standards.
• Strong understanding of SDLC and agile development from an architectural perspective; experience modernising legacy estates and decommissioning monoliths.
• Experience designing complex system integrations and data models (PIM, OMS, CDP, CRM, Marketing Automation).
• Knowledge of security, governance, resilience, and performance requirements.
• Practical understanding of AI and Generative AI in front-office/commerce architectures to enhance functionality.

Responsibilities

• Design and evolve end-to-end technical architectures for digital commerce and customer platforms.
• Translate business strategy and client requirements into scalable, secure, high-performing solutions.
• Provide hands-on architectural leadership across delivery ensuring integrity and excellence.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, BAs, Developers, and Delivery Leads to achieve outcomes.
• Advise senior stakeholders on architecture strategy, tech choices, and transformation roadmaps.
• Drive digital transformation and modernise legacy platforms while delivering incremental value.
• Ensure solutions meet security, governance, resilience, and performance standards.
• Identify and mitigate technical risks across complex programmes.
• Explore AI and emerging technologies to enhance platforms and architectural practices.
