Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking a skilled CNC Turner Programmer for a large machining company near Rotherham/Barnsley. You will program, set and operate CNC turning centres with FANUC controls on medium to high volume batches.

Responsibilities include interpreting drawings, selecting tools, and ensuring components meet tight tolerances using inspection equipment. The role requires experience with exotic materials and a collaborative, fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 10+ years' experience in a high precision manufacturing background.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Experience with CNC turning and FANUC controls.

Responsibilities

• CNC turning of complex precision engineered components.
• Programme, set and operate CNC turning centres with FANUC control and driven tools.
• Interpret drawings and routings to set up and program turning/milling operations.
• Machining of standard and exotic raw materials.
• Work to tight timelines in a busy manufacturing environment.
• Use inspection equipment to verify component quality.
