Job summary

Questech Recruitment Ltd is seeking an experienced CNC Programmer Turner to join our Bradford-based client. The role involves setting up, programming and operating CNC machines to meet quality specs and safety policies.

You will read engineering drawings, edit online programs and work with Fanuc/Siemens controls. The position is day-shift Mon-Fri, with hourly pay depending on experience.

Qualifications

• Fully trained in operation of CNC/ Manual Lathes/ Milling Machines and other.
• Ability to read/ interpret engineering drawings.
• Online programming and editing essential (Fanuc, Siemens & XYZ controls)

Responsibilities

• To safely set up, program and operate CNC Machines whilst adhering to all safety policies and procedures.
• Ensure equipment/ machinery is running smoothly, efficiently and to optimum requirements.
• Maintain a clean, neat and organised work area.
• Good understanding of mechanical engineering and machining principles.
• Compliance with all quality policies and specifications, and instructions.
• Use of gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements of finished goods.
• Understand specifications of the task at hand and the desired result.
